Аннотация

Еще в 1988 г. Jaworski
предложил концептуальную основу систематизации контроля
над маркетингом и
продажами. С тех пор
предпринимались попытки эмпирически
исследовать факторы,
определяющие разнообразие этих систем,
но ученые так и не
пришли к единому
выводу. Наша работа
ставит целью идентифицировать и объяснить факторы окружения компании, структурирующие ее
системы контроля. Мы
провели 21 индуктивное интервью с менеджерами отделов продаж и маркетинга и
выделили четыре категории компаний с
различными системами
контроля. Системы
контроля над маркетингом и продажами
определяются условиями дистрибуции (точнее, господством в канале сбыта) и характером отношений с
дистрибьютором.
